For many people with chronic conditions, it is recommended that they manage the condition long term with exercise. The problem with that recommendation is that people don’t know how to exercise for the purpose of maintenance. They are only familiar with exercises that can be done at the local gym, which is not safe or appropriate for them to do.
At Kinections, a personal assessment is performed by a Physical Therapist who understands the limitations of your condition and is knowledgeable of the exercises to avoid and which ones would be beneficial. A personalize exercise program is then developed for a self-guided program or for one-on-one sessions. “Check-ins” are scheduled for every few months to re-evaluate and progress the program.
