Therapeutic Exercises

In the initial steps of rehabilitation, therapeutic exercises are used to rebuild the patient’s strength, flexibility, and balance.

A physical therapist will conduct an assessment of each individual’s physical abilities and, from those results, will create a personalized treatment program catered to the patient’s specific needs. With the assistance of a physical therapist, exercises, stretches and stability techniques are used to regain the patient’s balance, strength and range of motion. This process relieves pain and increases flexibility which will allow patients to advance in their recovery to therapeutic activities – applying these exercises and movements back into daily tasks.
